A Message From Our President, Steve Edwards
Our team has continued to closely follow developments around the world while diligently seeking the Lord’s guidance. Due to the current travel advisories from the United States Department of State, counsel from our international partners, Assemblies of God World Missions, and the CDC, we will continue to wait to officially announce future foreign trips, while planning and preparing for when travel reopens to be able to again put people on airplanes and allow God to make missionaries out of them.
Though we cannot travel international, we can all take steps to begin reaching our neighbors and communities. Our team has created a quarterly, fully-virtual, training available to groups and individuals called REACH1. I believe the best place to start missions is at home, and what better time than now to begin bringing hope right where we live.
I ask that your prayers and support continue as we navigate these days, believing in God to guide us through. Please, stand with us as we work with our missionary partners to determine the details of future trips. Rest assured, we are still planning to serve alongside our partners around the world in the years ahead. Our commitment to the vision of making missionaries will not waver and, in the meantime, we are continuing to develop both domestic and foreign trips for future days, as well as working on new projects for the future of missions and building up our staff.

Although our plans have changed, we still believe God is at work. As we sought the Lord, we were reminded of the parable in Mark 4:35-41 of Jesus calming the storm. A storm came and brought real danger to the disciples. In their distress, they woke Jesus to assist with bailing out water. Little did they know that the Great I am was in their boat. Let us remind you today that He is in the boat with you. It was Jesus who told the disciples to get in the boat and go to the other side. We are confident that the Lord is still directing us and that we will arrive at the other side. We choose to trust. We choose to be courageous. We choose to walk by faith. The best is yet to come.
Due to the unique nature of this situation, Global Passion’s standard cancellation policy will be adjusted to account for those that would prefer to cancel rather than postpone. Upon cancellation, you and your donors may be eligible for a refund. Refund amounts will vary based on funds already expended and IRS regulations. Please note, requesting a refund does not guarantee that all funds can be refunded. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. This is uncharted territory so please be patient with us. If you would like to officially cancel your trip, please click on the link below.
We apologize, once again. Global Passion is fully committed to the safety of our trip participants. We are looking forward to all God has in store moving forward. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to do our best to navigate this situation. Thank you for being a part of the Global Passion Family. We are continuing to pray for you all.
