Our team will be serving with San Francisco City Impact. City Impact has been around for 34 years with a consistent mission: to see a spiritual awakening in the Tenderloin, the toughest district of San Francisco. Roger Huang was called here by God in 1984 to stand in the gap and intercede for the forgotten and ignored people of the Tenderloin. 30,000 residents live within one square mile, with 6,000 homeless and 3,000 children. After witnessing a young boy getting bullied, Roger responded by passing out 50 sandwiches the very next day. A simple tangible act of love turned into what is now City Impact, serving through 11 weekly ministries. We believe that City Impact is an idea that one man or woman can make a difference.

Our team will serve throughout the week within the various ministries of City Impact. We will serve through very tangible acts of love and kindness such as feeding the hungry (Rescue Mission, Meal Deliveries), clothing the naked (Thrift Store), educating the children (School), loving our neighbor (Adopt a Building), and making disciples (connecting people back to the church).
