Due to our expanding ministry, we have added two new Outreach Coordinators to our team, Marissa Deraya and Kirsten Nelson.

Kirsten joined our team in September and is coordinating both our Fiji and Alaska trips for this year. Kirsten has found great joy in combining her love of missions along with her gift of administration and organization. She is excited to help others participate in missions trips to reach the world with the Gospel. In her spare time, Kirsten can also be found coaching various sports for Special Olympics or making memories with her children and husband, Steven.

Marissa is a newer addition, becoming a part of our team at the beginning of January. She is coordinating our Panama trip as well as helping with a few custom trips. Marissa will be graduating in the spring from Sonoma State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and loves doing creative projects for her church, and for her home. She is excited to see where God leads her in ministry as the year continues.

If it were not for these two ladies, we would not be able to do all God has called us to in 2018 and beyond.

There are so many exciting things happening for Global Passion in 2018. We are partnering with the National Assemblies of God missions department to coordinate four large trips to Houston, Alaska, Fiji, and Panama, while still offering custom trips. Due to our expanding opportunities, we are currently undergoing a major development season as an organization. We know that God has called others to join us on this great mission. There is a busy year ahead and we know God has many things in store for our teams as they prepare to serve this summer.

• Sign-ups to continue for our big four trips this summer.
• More donors to contribute to our base as we grow. We are in need of $150,000 in extra money this year.
• Continued open doors with districts, youth ministries, and churches to campaign for missions.
• For a new Missions Director and new Marketing team members to join Global Passion staff.
